COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. — Goucher had two individuals place as high as 13th in an event at today's Bow-Tie Classic.
Danielle Granger (Amherst, Va./Amherst County) took 13th place in the 60-meter hurdles, completing the event in 10.73 seconds. She also placed 15th overall in the 400-meter dash (1:07.64).
Ashley Morris from Wesley was the fastest across the finish line in the 60-meter hurdles (9.21 seconds) and Megan McDonald from Johns Hopkins posted the fastest time of 1:00.61 in the 400 meters.
Maafio Appiah-Padi (Edmonton, Alberta/Lewisburg Area) achieved a distance of 9.36 meters (30' 8 1/2") to claim 13th place in that event, which was won by Mariah Smolka from Lebanon Valley at 13.06 meters (42' 10 1/4").
The Gophers' next competition will be at the same location, but not until after the holidays. They'll take part in the Collegeville Classic on January 23.
