Granger Places in 400-Meter Dash Dash, Hurdle Event

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. — Goucher's Danielle Granger (Amherst, Va./Amherst County) placed in two events at the Collegeville Classic tonight.
The junior placed 26th overall and 15th among the Division III entrants in the 60-meter hurdles and 27th in the 400-meter dash. She posted a time of 10.76 seconds in the 60 hurdles and was clocked at 1:07.91 in the 400 meters.
Maafio Appiah-Padi (Edmonton, Alberta/Lewisburg Area) took part in the shot put competition where she finished in 30th place off an effort of 8.96 meters (29'4 3/4").
The Gophers did not earn a team score.
The next event on Goucher's 2014-15 schedule are the Patriot Games, which take place Saturday, Jan. 31, in Fairfax, Va.
