In the sport of track and field, All-Landmark honors are awarded to student-athletes who finish first or second in an event at the Landmark Championship meet. Those who place first are designated first-team performers, while the runners-up receive second-team recognition.
The full list of All-Landmark honorees, along with the head coaches' choices for Track Athlete of the Year, Field Athlete of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Coaching Staff of the Year, is available HERE.
Kamillah Smith (Northampton, Mass./Amherst Regional) earned first-team All-Landmark honors for being the first person to cross the finish line in the 100-meter dash at the 2016 conference meet. In doing so, she joined Jana White (2003, 2004) and Destiny Phillips (2012) as the only female runners to win a conference outdoor 100-meter dash title in the history of Goucher's track and field program.
Smith also placed second in the 200-meter dash, for which she received second-team All-Landmark accolades.
For placing second in the 4 x 100-meter relay, the quartet of Maya Belin (Baltimore, Md./Maryvale Preparatory School), Monique Welch (Reisterstown, Md./Franklin), Laura Williams (Verona, N.J./Verona), and Smith were listed on the All-Landmark second team.
