Williams Threatens 100m Hurdles Record

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Freshman Taylor Gunter (Laurel, Md.) finished within the top 10 three times today for the Gophers.

Gunter placed seventh in the shot put and she threw for 10.33m. With this throw she moves to 11th place on the all time list for Goucher shot put. In the discus, she finished eighth with a distance of 28.29m. Finally, she placed sixth in the hammer throw with a distance of 31.42m. 

Goucher's Top Performances: 

• Senior Laura Williams (Verona, N.J.) finished sixth in the women 100m hurdles with a time of 16.81. Williams is now 2nd all time at Goucher for the 100m hurdles.
• Freshman Anna Gallina (Whitehall, Pa.) placed sixth in the 200m dash, finishing with a time of 27.81. Gallina also finished 5th in the 400m dash, with a time of 1:04.00.
• Freshman Shalom Omo-Osagie (Baltimore, Md.) finished 13th in the women 200m dash, running at a time of 28.51. She also earned sixth place in the high jump, jumping 1.42m. 
• Freshman Natalie Kent (Media, Pa.) also placed seventh in the discus throw with a distance of 29.51m.​
