Women's/Men's Track & Field Has Final Warm-Up Before Landmark Championships at McDaniel Twilight Meet

WESTMINSTER, Md. - The Goucher College women's and men's track & field teams took part in their final event before next weekend's Landmark Conference Championships on Monday night at McDaniel, participating in the Twilight Meet hosted by the Green Terror.

On the night, sophomore Victoria Wheeler (Kinnelon, N.J.) posted the highest finish in an event for the Gophers, placing second in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:20.12. Teammate and first-year Kennedy Lowery (Baltimore, Md.) was seventh in the 100-meter dash in 14.33, while on the men's side, first-year Brian Sullivan (Lake Forest, Ill.) was also seventh in the 100-meter dash in a time of 11.91.

The Gophers will now be idle until Saturday, May 5th when they take part in the 2018 Landmark Conference Championship meet. The event, which will take place at Elizabethtown College, runs through Sunday, May 6th.
