Gophers Open 2026 at the Cardinal Classic

LANDOVER, MD- The Goucher College Gophers traveled to the Prince George's Sport & Learning Complex to take on the Cardinal Classic.
On the track, Ray Asiedu posted multiple top a top 15 finishes with a 8.31 in the 60 meter dash and 27.54 in the 200 meter race. Lone thrower Ja'Kiya Allen competed in both the weight throw and shot put, posting two top 20 finishes. Her weight throw went 10.21 meters and her shot put score was 8.73 meters. First year, Rosy Palla recorded a top 40 finish in the 60 meter dash with a time of 9.76. Kalia Kiyoi competed in the one mile race posting a time of 6:38 and a top 40 finish.
The Gophers are back in action on January, 31st at the Widener Schuylkill Showcase, events start at 10am.
