Season Best Performances At Widener

CHESTER, PA - The Goucher College Gophers traveled back to Widener University for day two of the Schuylkill Showcase. The meet marked multiple season and personal bests for the young team.
Junior, Ray Asiedu ran two season-best times, with a time of 8.20 in the 60-meter and a time of 27.20 in the 200-meter, earning a top 20 in both events. Rosy Palla ran a personal best time of 9.67 in the 60-meter. Marissa Heil added to the Gophers finishes in the 60-meter with a season-best run of 9.03. In the mile run, Kalia Kiyoi ran a season-best time of 6:28.03, clinching a top 35 finish.
Heil rounded out the field events for the Gophers, finishing with a distance of 4.19 meters in the long jump, earning a top 25 finish.
The Gophers will return to action at the Big Apple Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 7th, hosted in Staten Island, NY.
