Bison Extend Streak Against Gophers to 14 Matches

Playing in front of 450 people in their first home match of the season, the Bison defeated the Gophers, 3-0. Set scores were 25-16, 25-21, 25-16.
Jessica Israel was the hitting star for the Bison (6-8) as she contributed a match-high 12 kills to the victory. The sophomore middle hitter committed no hitting errors and finished with an .857 attack percentage.
For Goucher, which last defeated Gallaudet in the sport of volleyball in 1997, senior opposite hitter Kasey Quinn (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) registered team-leading totals of nine kills and 17 digs. Senior setter Claire Sauvage-Mar (New Delhi, India/American Embassy School) picked up 18 assists.
