WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Lycoming College swept Goucher College 3-0 in Landmark Conference women's volleyball Saturday afternoon at Lamade Gymnasium. Set scores were 25-12, 25-22, 25-10.
- Lycoming (14-9, 2-7 Landmark) scored the first eight points of the opening set.
- Goucher (3-19, 0-8) pulled within 12-5 before the Warriors reeled off six straight points.
- After a Kailee Turner kill made it 23-12, Lycoming had the final two points of the set.
- Goucher led 6-5 before three straight Warrior points gave the hosts an 8-6 advantage.
- Down 21-17, the Gophers scored five straight, including three straight Turner kills and a Nicole Kovach service ace, to take a 22-21 lead.
- Lycoming responded with four straight of its own to take the set.
- Lycoming scored the first three points and jumped out to a 13-2 lead.
- A Gopher attack error closed out the match.
- Turner had a team-high eight kills and added seven digs.
- Kovach racked up 11 digs and now stands at 996 for her career.
- Athena Savick posted 15 digs.
- Riley Kocell finished with six digs.
