Goucher Earns 2025 AVCA Team Academic Award

BALTIMORE, MD - The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced yesterday that the Goucher Women's Volleyball was a recipient of the 2025 AVCA Team Academic Award. This year marks the 33rd anniversary of the Award sponsored by INTENT.
In order to receive this award, the team must maintain a 3.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale for the duration of the 2024-2025 school year. This year a record breaking 1,450 collegiate and high school volleyball teams proved their dominance in the classroom by accomplishing this task.
The Gophers win this award for the first time since the 2021-2022 school year, which hard marked back-to-back years of earning this award. This is only the fourth time in program history that Goucher has accomplished this.
