Goucher Volleyball Announces 2026 Fall Schedule

BALTIMORE, MD – Goucher College head volleyball coach Kate Lindholm has announced the Gophers' 2026 competition schedule, featuring a balanced slate of regional non-conference matchups, competitive tournament play, and a full Landmark Conference schedule.

The Gophers open the season on September 2, with a road trip to Penn State Brandywine. Goucher will also travel to Wilson on September 5 for their first tri-match of the season, where they will face Penn State Berks to conclude opening weekend. Before returning home for their 2026 home opener on September 8, hosting Penn State Berks. 

The early portion of the month is followed by a road matchup at McDaniel on September 11. The Gophers remain at McDaniel for two neutral site contests on September 12 to face Mount Aloysius and Trinity Washington.

Goucher hosts their first tri-match on September 19, welcoming Penn State Abington and Eastern Mennonite after opening that stretch against Gallaudet on September 17. The team closes the month with road competition at Notre Dame of Maryland on September 23 before hosting Cheyney, Gwynedd Mercy, and Washington (MD) over the final week of September.

October begins with a competitive home weekend as the Gophers kick off Landmark Conference play against Susquehanna on October 2, before welcominug Elizabethtown, and Central Penn on October 3.

Landmark Conference action intensifies throughout October, beginning with road matches at Wilkes on October 9 and Moravian on October 10, followed by a trip to Catholic on October 13.

The Gophers return home for two key conference contests against Juniata (October 16) and Lycoming (October 17), where they will celebrate their seniors and host their Dig Pink game. The final home game will be against St. Mary's (MD) before closing the regular season with challenging road matches at Scranton and Drew, where they will also see Alvernia in a neutral site matchup. The final match of the season will be on October 27 against Hood.

Overall, the 2026 slate features 28 matches, including 13 home contests, 11 road matches, and four neutral-site competitions, giving the Gophers ample opportunities to prepare for postseason play while facing a strong mix of regional opponents and Landmark Conference opponents.
