LEBANON, Pa. - The Goucher College men's and women's cross country teams took part in their second event of the 2018 season on Saturday morning, participating at the 2018 LVC Dutchman Invite, held at the Union Canal Tunnel Park in Lebanon.
On the day for the men's team, senior Sean O'Flaherty (Hinsdale, Ill.) led the way, finishing the 8k meter loop in 30:54.18. Elsewhere, first-year Joseph Augustine Rhodenhiser (Ann Arbor, Mich.) was Goucher's second-highest finisher in 31:42.93, while fellow first-year Connor Lawrence (North Potomac, Md.) crossed the finish line in 31:43.39.
For the women's team, first-year Laila Hanson (Churchville, Md.) was Goucher's high finisher, crossing the 5k course in 21:13.30. Behind Hanson was sophomore Eva Bulson-Lewis (Minneapolis, Minn.), who crossed the finish line in 22:49.54, while senior Hannah Brogan (Chatham, N.J.) finished in 23:57.32.
The Goucher men's and women's cross country teams will return to action on Saturday, September 22, as they travel to the Dickinson Long/Short Invitational, which will be held in Newville, Pa.
