NOTES: Goucher makes the short trip to McDaniel Friday afternoon to open the 2024 season...it marks the debut of Gopher first year head coach Mike Singleton, who came aboard in the spring...Goucher and the Green Terror are meeting for the first time since 2017, a 1-0 Goucher win at Beldon Field...McDaniel won four straight in the series prior to that...the Green Terror, who reached the second round of the NCAA tournament a season ago, also have a first-year head coach in Michael Scott.

NOTES: Goucher hosts the annual Baltimore Metro Meet by Timing Mate to open the season on Friday evening...both the men and women will compete at the 5K distance...a total of 17 different schools across all three NCAA divisions and the junior college ranks are scheduled to compete...the event marks one of two cross country meets Goucher will host this season.

NOTES: Goucher and Cairn meet in the season opener for the fourth straight season...last season the Gophers posted a 3-1 win on the road with Bobby Beringer, Andres Aristimuno and Michael Adekanmbi all scoring goals...both teams reached their respective conference semifinals last season, with Goucher reaching the Landmark semis and the Highlanders advancing to the United East semifinal round.
