2017-18: Swam in 8 meets during his junior season with the Gophers...fastest event of the season was when he placed 23rd in the 100m freestyle event (52.48) at the 2018 Landmark Conference Championships...placed 17th in the 200m freestyle event (1:58.90), placed 7th in the 50m freestyle event (23.98), and placed 27th in the 50m freestyle event (23.99) at the conference championships as well...
Before Goucher: Four-year letter winning swimmer at the Golda Och Academy in West Orange, NJ under coach Ryan Millun...earned the Internship Award his senior year.
Personal: Son of Ira Gang and Gail Alterman, Eli is a psychology major.
