  • Slade Dumas and the doubles team of Michael Herman and Tetsuya Ota each won a match at the Seagull Open to power Goucher College men's tennis on February 8-9.
  • Dumas defeated Adam Goldberger 6-1, 6-1 in the round of 32 before falling to Ian Slew in the round of 16, 6-2, 6-0.
  • The doubles team of Herman and Ota won its round of 16 match 8-3 before falling by the identical score in the quarterfinals.
  • Ota had the best match in the opening round after taking Ryan Santmyer to three sets in a 7-6, 5-7, 7-5 contest. In other round of 32 action, Brian Kane lost to Patrick MacLean (6-2, 6-1), Frankie Mullinix lost to Augustin Merlot (6-3, 6-1), Omosesan Adebamgbe lost to Rishi Gundakaram (6-4, 6-3) and Herman lost to Garrett Malave (6-1, 6-4).
  • In other doubles action, Elliot Diehl and Josiah Meekins dropped a doubles match 8-5 and Dumas and Mullinix fell 8-3 in the round of 16.
