Sophomore defender Lauren Pirrung (New Windsor, MD) had a career high of four groundballs.
Junior goalkeeper Bridget Den Boer (Sparta, NJ) had eight saves during the match.
How it Happened:
· Randolph-Macon took control of the game early, scoring their first goal three minutes into the contest.
· The Yellow Jackets scored five goals in the first half while denying the Gophers to score.
· Randolph-Macon would go on to score five more goals before Goucher found the back of the net, scoring at the 12:30 mark.
· Randolph-Macon had 11 different goal scorers. Junior Alex Lightfoot led the Yellow Jackets with eight points, scoring two goals with six assists.
· Randolph-Macon outshot Goucher 37-15.
