BALTIMORE, Md. – The Goucher College women's lacrosse season finale against Juniata College, originally scheduled for Friday, April 19 at 5:30 p.m. at Beldon Field, has been postponed due to the impending weather and chance of thunderstorms on Friday afternoon. Prior to the game on Tuesday against the Eagles, Goucher College will honor seniors Maddie Hernandez (Pickerington, Ohio, Danielle Nixon (Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) and Jordan Tice (Batavia, Ill./Batavia) for their hard work and dedication to the women's lacrosse program and Goucher College for the last four years.

The Gophers are coming off a game against Susquehanna that saw freshman Julia Gazzola (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) establish a new single-season record for draw controls with 88 draws. In addition, junior Shannon Stull (Westminster, Md./Francis Scott Key) reached 100 career draw controls in the game and now has surpassed the 100 mark in points, goals and draw controls this season.

Goucher is 7-7 on the year and is looking to post its first winning season since the 2015 season while a victory would also give the squad eight wins for the first time since the 2016 season.
