Sydney Lewis Named Landmark Honorable Mention All-Conference

TOWSON, Md. - Goucher College women's lacrosse junior goalie Sydney Lewis was named Landmark Conference Honorable Mention All-Conference, it was announced Friday afternoon.  Lewis is the Gophers' first All-Conference honoree in women's lacrosse since 2018.

The Gophers' starting goalie in all 17 games this season, Lewis totaled 185 saves and a .445 save percentage.  She recorded double-digit saves on 10 occasions, including a career-best 21 stops against Susquehanna on April 17.  A two-time Landmark Defensive Athlete of the Week, Lewis ranks second in the conference in saves per game (10.9) and fourth in save percentage.

Lewis surpassed the 300-save mark in her career earlier this year and enters her senior season with 353 saves, 68 away from entering the program's career top five for saves.
