- Goucher wraps up its fall season this weekend at home with a match against Lebanon Valley on Friday and York (Pa.) on Saturday
- The Gophers will honor senior Mandile Mpofu prior to the match on Friday against Lebanon Valley for all of her hard work and dedication to Goucher and the women's tennis program for the last four years.
- For her career, Mandile Mpofu is 21-19 in singles matches and 12-18 in dual matches, but has posted a 17-6 overall mark and a 10-6 record in dual matches in her last two seasons
- Mandile Mpofu was named the Landmark Conference Women's Tennis Athlete Of The Week after going 4-0 at the Goucher Invitational last weekend
- Ceri McCaffrey and doubles tandem of Kyoko Kinoshita/Katie Marzerka also went 4-0 at the invitational while Anais Gill went 3-1
- Mandile Mpofu and Ceri McCaffrey have won all six of their matches in the fall
- Goucher defeated York 8-1 last season on the road
