TOWSON, Md. — The Landmark Conference, which is in its ninth year of competition, today recognized 380 student-athletes for their academic accomplishments by placing them on the Fall 2015 Academic Honor Roll. Forty-six of the honorees are from Goucher.

TOWSON, Md. — Daniel Hendry (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg) became only the fourth goalkeeper in the 27-year history of Goucher's men's soccer program to earn all-conference honors when the 2015 All-Landmark Conference Men's Soccer Team was released this morning.

SELINSGROVE, Pa. — Every game has sort of been a playoff game for Goucher since head coach Bryan Laut's squad got off to an 0-3 start this season in the Landmark Conference. The Gophers kept themselves in the chase for a berth in next month's postseason tournament by beating three of the four conference opponents they've faced the past three weeks — and needed a win over Susquehanna this afternoon and a little help in order to return to the tournament for a second year in a row.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Goucher returned to the scene of its gallant performance against Catholic in the semifinals of the 2014 Landmark Conference playoffs today. The Gophers stayed within a goal of the Cardinals until the 85th minute, but suffered a 3-nil setback.
READING, Pa. — Goucher trailed Alvernia, 3-nil, after 45 minutes and it didn't get any better in the second half for the Gophers as they were beaten by the Crusaders, 5-nil, this afternoon.
TOWSON, Md. — Two goals scored in a span of 52 seconds early in the second half turned a slim 1-0 lead for Goucher into a robust three-goal advantage and the Gophers went on to claim their third non-conference victory of the season today by beating Cairn, 5-1, on Beldon Field.

The freshman goalkeeper also turned away a penalty kick by the leading scorer in the Landmark Conference in the 49th minute to keep the contest scoreless.
