Elizabethtown, Pa. - Gophers went on the road to play the Blue Jays of Elizabethtown College in their conference opener. The Blue Jays kept their lead resulting in them winning 22-5. 

First Quarter

  • Gophers won the draw control to start the quarter.

  • Sydney Lewis had two saves. 
  • Etown scored 5 goals leading 5-0 going into the second half.

Second Quarter

  • Etown begins the scoring at (13:08).

  • Gophers win three draw controls and picked-up three ground balls. 
  • Another Goucher goal scored by Emily Burk, assisted by Camden West chips at the Etown lead.

Third Quarter

  • Molly Smith starts the quarter with an unassisted goal for Goucher (14:22).
  • Etown responds with a goal off the ground ball pick-up.
  • West adds a goal to the Gopher tally (12:12).

  • Blue Jays score six goals in the quarter leading 16-5.

Fourth Quarter

  • Blue Jays win the draw control leading to the first goal of the quarter.

  • Gophers picked-up three ground balls. 
  • Etown scores six goals leading to the final score of 22-5.
