ST. MARYS CITY, MD Goucher concluded its 16-year affiliation with the Capital Athletic Conference as the leader in percentage of student-athletes who made the leagues 2006-07 All-Academic Team, which was unveiled today.
ST. MARY'S CITY, MD Goucher's Bethany Natoli (Alexandria, VA/O'Connell) reached the championship finals in two events and Britt Hogstrom (Killington, VT/Woodstock Union) broke the school record in the 50-yard freestyle at the 2007 Capital Athletic Conference Swimming Championships.
TOWSON, MD Goucher produced the top performer in five of the nine individual events, but the Gophers still suffered a 120-85 loss to Salisbury today in their final meet of the season.
TOWSON, MD Goucher got off to a great start against Washington (Md.) this evening, capturing first and third places in the 200-yard medley relay to take a 13-4 lead. But the Gophers would be shut out of first-place performances in contested events the rest of the way, opening the door for the Shorewomen to secure a 121-79 victory.
ASHLAND, VA Goucher shared fourth place with Greensboro in the final team standings at today's conclusion of the Yellow Jacket Invitational.
