MADISON, N.J. — The Landmark Conference, which is in its fifth year of competition and is comprised of eight like-minded institutions in the mid-Atlantic region, today recognized 204 student-athletes for their academic accomplishments by placing them on the 2012 Winter Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll. Fifteen of the honorees are from Goucher.

TOWSON, Md. — Behind a pair of first-place performances by freshman Nicole Craver (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove Area) and a win in the 400-yard medley relay, Goucher was able to chalk up its first victory of the 2011-12 season today, a 78-17 triumph over Gallaudet.
TOWSON, Md. — Goucher's initial 2011-12 victory will have to come another day as head coach Thomas Till's squad came up short this afternoon against two Landmark Conference opponents in the von Borries Aquatic Center. The Gophers (0-5, 0-4 Landmark) were beaten by Juniata, 86-35, and Scranton, 103-19.

MARY'S CITY, Md. — The only Goucher swimmer who was able to touch first in an individual event during today's meet against St. Mary's (Md.) was Nicole Craver (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove Area). The freshman also accounted for the only second-place performance by the Gophers, who were soundly beaten by the Seahawks, 155-49.
TOWSON, Md. — Goucher outscored Catholic, 44-0, in the final three events, but the Cardinals had a built up an insurmountable lead during the first eight events of the Landmark Conference meet on the way to a 115-78 triumph over head coach Thomas Till's Gophers this afternoon.
TOWSON, Md. — Goucher opened its 2011-12 season today against the defending Landmark Conference champions and, even with freshman Nicole Craver (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove Area) earning 27 points with first-place finishes in three individual events, the Gophers came up short against Susquehanna, 157-86.
