Firth and Jarvis Lead the Gophers in Final Home Meet
BALTIMORE, MD - The Goucher College women's swim hosted Moravian University in the final home meet of the 2025-26 season. Despite numerous podium finishes, the Gophers fell 94-60.
Kan Jarvis added the first points for the Gophers, with her second-place finish in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 2:16.37. Teammate, Alana Moore, finished in fourth with a time of 2:31.27. Jarvis added an additional first-place finish in the 100 Yard Backstroke, finishing six seconds ahead of her competitor.
Kaitlyn Firth recorded a first-place finish in the 50 Yard Freestyle (28.41), with teammate Harper Sutton (35.99) rounding out the race. Firth added two additional first-place finishes in the 200 Yard IM, with her time of 2:30.55, and in the 100 Yard Butterfly (1:08.21), followed closely by Jarvis, who finished a second and a half later.
In the 100 Yard Freestyle, Moore added a second-place finish with her finish of 1:07.58. Sutton added a fourth-place finish in the race (1:24.58) to earn the Gophers points. In the 500 Yard Freestyle, Sutton placed second with her time of 8:49.08. Moore rounded out the scoring for Goucher with her third-place finish in the 100 Yard Breaststroke, finishing with a time of 1:29.61.
The Gophers return to action at McDaniel College on Jan. 24, where they face both Gallaudet and McDaniel in a 1pm start.
