Day Three of Landmark Championships Completed for Goucher Women
BALTIMORE, MD - The Goucher women's swim team traveled to the campus of Loyola University Maryland for day three of competition of the Landmark Conference Championships. At the conclusion of the day, Goucher sits in 10th with a total of 43 points.
Kaitlyn Firth began the day for the Gopher women, competing in the 400 Yard IM Preliminaries, earning an 18th-place finish with a time of 5:20.64. Firth added a 17th-place finish in the 100 Yard Butterfly Preliminaries (1:06.86) and a 200 Yard Freestyle Preliminaries (2:11.35)
Senior Kan Jarvis saw the first final race for the Gophers, earning a 16th-place finish in the 100 Yard Butterfly after a final time of 1:07.02. In the 100 Yard Breaststroke Preliminaries, Alana Moore earned a 22nd-place finish (1:24.97). Harper Sutton finished the 100 Yard Backstroke Preliminaries in 1:29.73 for a 24th-place finish.
The final event for the Gophers featured the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team of Moore, Firth, Sutton, and Jarvis to earn a 10th-place finish with a time of 2:01.54.
The women return to the Mangione Aquatic Center on the campus of Loyola University of Maryland for the final day of Landmark Conference Championships.
