MADISON, N.J. – The Landmark Conference today recognized 236 student-athletes, including 30 from Goucher, for their academic accomplishments by placing them on the on the 2008-09 Winter Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll.
KINGS POINT, N.Y. – Goucher's Georgi Shalamanov (Velingrad, Bulgaria/St. St. Kiril & Metodi) placed second in a pair of individual events and third in another at the 2009 Landmark Conference Swimming & Diving Championships, which concluded tonight.
TOWSON, Md. – Goucher's Georgi Shalamanov (Velingrad, Bulgaria/St. St. Kiril & Metodi) took first place in the 200-yard freestyle and was runner-up in the 200-yard breaststroke during a Landmark Conference triangular meet today that resulted in the Gophers defeating Drew, 64-30, but coming up short against Merchant Marine, 59-35.
TOWSON, Md. – Goucher produced the runner-up in five individual events before Michael Ambrosio (Port Washington, N.Y./Paul D. Schreiber) took first place in the 100-yard breaststroke in a 111-70 loss to Washington (Md.) this evening.
YORK, Pa. – Goucher produced the runner-up in three individual events during today's triangular meet that included York and Salisbury.
GLENSIDE, Pa. –Not only did Goucher produce the top performer in all nine individual events and the fastest entry in both relays in today's meet against Arcadia, but head coach Tom Till's Gophers also set two new pool records during their solid 119-37 triumph over the Knights.

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Georgi Shalamanov (Velingrad, Bulgaria/St. St. Kiril & Metodi) touched first in the 100-yard breaststroke, providing Goucher with its only first-place performance in a contested individual event today in a 138-59 season-opening loss to Susquehanna.
