WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Catholic University Cardinals (5-8 Overall; 3-2 Conference) hold the Goucher College Gophers (7-6 Overall; 1-4 Conference) to just four goals in the 18-4 Landmark Conference matchup Wednesday evening.
- Catholic added three goals within the first five minutes of the contest to give them an early lead.
- After a five minute scoreless drought in the game, Jacob Morgan scored the first goal for the Gophers (6:08).
- Two and a half minutes later Jack Murdaugh added another to the board for Goucher with an assist from Morgan.
- The Cardinals added two more to end the quarter, giving them a 5-2 lead.
- Catholic began the scoring just under five minutes in.
- The only other goals in the quarter came from Catholic at the 7:46 and 5:16 mark.
- Catholic opened the second half with four goals in the first five minutes.

- With 5:23 on the clock, Sean Nolan pulls a shot from beyond midfield, catching the Catholic goalkeeper out of net to end Gouchers goal drought.
