MADISON, N.J. — The Landmark Conference, which recently completed its fourth year of competition and is comprised of eight like-minded institutions in the mid-Atlantic region, today recognized 279 student-athletes for their academic accomplishments by placing them on the 2011 Spring Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll. Twenty-two of the honorees are from Goucher.

WESTMINSTER, Md. — Goucher produced the first-place performer in both the high jump and pole vault competitions today at the McDaniel Twilight Invitational II.
GETTYSBURG, Pa. — Goucher scored points in six events and finished in seventh place with a team score of 25 points at the Mason-Dixon Invitational today.
GRANTHAM, Pa. — Goucher had an individual and an entry in a relay place as high as sixth today at the Messiah Invitational.
HUNTINGDON, Pa. — Goucher's Adam Scipione (Walpole, Mass./Walpole) set a new outdoor school record in the 3,000-meter run today at the Juniata Invitational.
TOWSON, Md. — First-place performances by senior Chris Litz (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll) in the pole vault and freshmen Brian Gautier (Barnegat, N.J./Barnegat Twp.) and Doug Falk (Barnegat, N.J./Barnegat Twp.) in the 400-meter dash and high jump, respectively, were the highlights for Goucher today as the Gophers finished in a tie for fifth place at the Goucher Track & Field Classic.
